Menu labeling laws not only give individuals the information they need to make healthier food choices, they spur reformulation by restaurant chains in order to make products that are healthier for consumers.  Yet despite strong public support for such laws, restaurants and industry associations continue to undermine advocates’ efforts to implement strong menu labeling laws.
